Practical information for visitors to the Château de Clisson

The Department is currently undertaking major restoration and improvement work on the castle.
Some parts of the site are therefore difficult to access.
Thank you for your understanding.

Opening Hours:

The Château de Châteaubriant is open all year round.

• January : closed
• February to April: 14:00 to 17:30  (every day except Tuesdays)
• May, June: 10:30 to 18:00 (every day except Tuesdays)
• July, August : 10.30 to 18.00 (daily)
• September: 10:30 to 18:00 (every day except Tuesdays)
• October to December: 14:00 to 17:30  (every day except Tuesdays)

Last access to the reception area: 30 minutes before closure.

Closures: January, 1^st et 11^th November, 24^th, 25^th and 31^st December,

Prices:

Entrance to the Château:

• Full price: €3  
• Concessions: €2 (14-18 year olds, jobseekers, groups of 15 or more)
• Free for under 14s accompanied by an adult, disabled visitors, journalists, heritage specialists and professionals from the tourism industry,

Guided Tours:

• Full price: €3  
• Concessions: €2 (14-18 year olds, jobseekers, groups of 15 or more)
• Free for under 14s accompanied by an adult, visitors with disabilities, tourism professionals, Ministry of Culture personnel, French museum personnel, journalists.

• These prices do not include the cost of entrance to the site.

Workshops: fixed price - €3 per person. These prices do not include the cost of entrance to the site.

Exhibitions and live shows : free admission

Payment accepted in: cash, cheques, bank cards
