The departmental Estate of Garenne Lemot presents a new contemporary art exhibition with “Artists from the Casa de Velázquez” from December 13, 2008 to March 15, 2009.
Like every other year for the past sixteen years, the artists of the Casa de Velázquez are back at the departmental Estate of Garenne Lemot with a selection of beautiful artwork. Starting Saturday, December 13, 2008, seven French and Spanish graduates present the work they did while staying in Madrid. This collective exhibition shows the quality of the work done by these young artists through various creative outlets such as photographs, paintings, sculptures, videos and drawings.
Visitors will have a chance to see the large variety of styles, techniques, concepts and themes found in contemporary art. These artworks illustrate the impressive changes we can observe in today’s creative world at a time when artists cross paths, share ideas and concepts and inspire each other and their audience.
Enjoy your visit…
